Attendees are strongly advised to book their accomodation as soon as possible
as there are several active conference centers in Lille at that time of the year.
Lille is a very active and pleasant city, and to stay in the center of Lille is the most natural choice. You will be in one of the most lively area of the metropolitan area, close to most interesting places, restaurants and night life. If you take an hotel at a walking distance from Lille Flandres Railway Station, you reach the conference venue by a twelve-minute subway ("Métro") ride. The best areas are around the Lille Flandres Railway Station, around the "Place du Général de Gaulle" (5 minute walk to the station) and in the Old Town (10 to 15 minute walk to the station). You can also choose to stay in Villeneuve d'Ascq, close to the conference venue. You will be at walking distance from the conference, but far from any activity. Hotels in this area are showed on the map below.
